Only a small preview this time. Because I really only want to inform of the shows I personally like the style of or have been anticipating or I just have a feeling about their greatness. Before they all really kick off this time and although the Season has already started; I present my top 5 picks for this season. Notable mentions are at the end, but I don’t really feel the need to comment on movies and long gapped OVA’s. I also only picked four and the fifth is really just a tack-on because without seeing anything this season yet I picked that as the least possible one to fail. Hurr.

Yeah! I got lazy to post because of looking for a full-time job and spending nearly every single cent I have on Merchandise and my new computer. I’ll post after the new year. But I have gotten a lot of interesting things this past month. Firstly my christmas present; I got a 24″ Monitor. It’s pretty damn nice, and it goes well with the new computer I built. I also got a bit of money from relatives which went towards building back my funds.
As for Umineko, the show is over and it was a fun ride but a little disappointed that it cut soo many corners. I’ll just end up writing a full review of it, I had 12-17 written up but I hadn’t taken the pictures, so don’t expect episodical reviews of them now that it’s over, I just couldn’t be bothered and it’s not like many people read this anyway.
I’ll end up reviewing something else and if you have any knowledge of the next season and what I primarily focus on, you can probably guess what that will be. Also scrap that post after new years, I’ll do a season preview in a day or so, it’s not a great season but its got a few titles that look like they are going to be amazing.
Also the things that have been attained this past month, I have 2 new Nendo’s, a new AC (haven’t started building it yet), some miniature gachapon figures, an artbook, a calender, and 2 new figures ($_$). I’ll post about them, and I’ll also post about my new computer… Okay basically, the computer has taken up nearly my whole time; it’s a beast. It can chew through games and I have basically been spending too much time on it. Inc Posts soon.
Well, that came faster then expected… I am not complaining, it is just that I have a lot of computer parts lying on my desk and well yeah! I didn’t have enough room. Heh. So I have been waiting for this for a while, I saw the price and my mouth closed a little, but the figure size and beauty and the fact that it’s Fate (I love Fate), made me compulsively preorder instantly.
Of course I am talking about the StrikerS figure, Alter’s 1/7 Fate T. Harlaown True Sonic Form PVC and while I like the younger versions of the characters, I couldn’t resist getting this one because in all honesty; This is the best looking Feito figure to buy at the moment and probably for a long ass time.

Woo! It arrived, I waited ages. Well not really ages, it shipped 2 weeks ago and it feels like forever when your last shipment came three times as fast. Hurr Hurr. So here it is, my Nendoroid Ryougi Shiki by Goodsmile Company, she is the main character of a series called Kara no Kyoukai ~the Garden of Sinners~.

Checking up on Kanon and Jessica, the remaining nine find only her corpse behind the door to her room, marked with a pentagram. It is speculated that only one of the servants master keys could have locked the door and therefore they are suspected by Rosa, and further attention is directed at the missing Kanon as the culprit or that his key was used. Battler reflects on possible events and stumble across the fact that Kanon’s key is still in Jessica’s pocket.

Yay! I had a pretty good relaxing day today. Birthday crept up on me so quickly, and I feel old at 22. Today, I had a good sleep, despite the whole insomnia thing and I hung out with a friend for a small portion of the day. We went out for lunch and watched some TV Series at my place, then I dropped her home and I watched some TV with my parents. We rented some movies and got Chinese Food. As for my cake; My dad has nightshift so my mum bought me a cheesecake (Delicious) and we plan to make one tomorrow for when he’s around (Even though I don’t really care for the whole Birthday Celebration thing).
To me birthdays are like my own private celebration and I hate gatherings where I am center of attention, so I hardly ever have parties for such an occasion. It’s just a day where I have free reign in my family and blessings from everyone I know, which is great. Oh yeah there’s also the presents ^_^
More Higurashi stuff to collect! So as title suggests there is going to be another set; Banpresto’s Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Deformation Maniac Figure Collection – Pocket Vol.3! I know it’s a mouthful. This set features a “Take Home” Rena, a Nekomimi Rika, Miyo Takano!, and some crappy “Bawww” Satoko.
These figures like the preview set, will sell at about ¥600 each, and released in mid April 2010 (Too far away!) But be careful though, these cute little girls may have you stabbed, shot down, injected, or pushed off a bridge just to get them. I’m not going to take my eyes off of these until they become orderable, or else I might end up scratching out my own throat if I miss getting them.

I haven’t really made many figure posts primarily because, where do I begin? I don’t usually get many figurines, and suddenly to start blogging about them is a little daunting. I do get some novelty figures, like the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Daybreak Gachapon collectables and the Pani Poni Dash tradables, but that was mainly a perk of the hour. I have a few reasons for not doing posts like these.
It isn’t exactly a great shrine and it does not stay like this unfortunately, Haha. These are just some of the prominent pieces of the subculture merchandise I have collected primarily over the past year or so. At first I thought buying this stuff was kind of silly, but I have grown to love acquiring it all and collecting them. As you can tell, I’m an avid fan of Higurashi / Umineko / Shana. You could also say a fan of Haruhi except expectations and standards have been lowered recently, and I shouldn’t have to go into that.
So what we have here really is my figure collection, artbooks, DVD’s, and some miscellaneous. I shall go through it all!
